Infographic - Cyprus Divided

Cyprus is divided into four main geopolitical territories:

• The internationally recognized Republic of Cyprus in the south (~60% of land)

• The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in the north (~38% of land, recognized by Turkey)

• The UN Buffer Zone (Green Line) running across the island,

• The two UK Sovereign Base Areas (Akrotiri and Dhekelia)
